Taking Inventory of my Thoughts

 
While I sit here with my mind running over things that have happened this week, situations I could have done or handled differently. So my mind is idling, which isn't always good because it can easily give Satan a foothold in my mind. Psalm 19:14 reads, " May the words of my mouth and meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock, and my Redeemer." I can breathe and put these thoughts into my savior's hands. I can meditate on his goodness and give him praise with my mouth. Give Him the glory that he was with me in my classroom this week. He provided help when I needed it. Understand that no matter what, Jesus is my Rock and my Redeemer. Jesus loves you and me. Think about Jesus.

Day 29~ Think Before You Speak~ Our scripture reading is coming from Proverbs 13:3, " He who guards his mouth keeps his life, but he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin." Throughout the bible, God tells us numerous times to watch our mouths. My pastor is starting a new series titles Speech Therapy. It's not learning how to pronounce words effectively and learning to say letters correctly. This is more of spiritual check-up for Christians. our tongue can create a huge mess in our lives. Welcome to day 80 as we are continuing with our devotional reading and reflection.God is amazing and so loving! We don't deserve anything and so often take it for granted. Day 80~ A bit of Grace for Today~ Our scripture reading comes from James 4:6, "But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” Today as I was working,  I realized how undeserving I am of God's blessings in my life. We are looking at God's grace. God loves us so much that he sent His son to die for our sins. As I struggle with learning new schedules and children,  I mess up a lot. People have been patient with me learning children and routines from all classrooms.
