Day 79~ Don't have an Overactive Conscience ~ Understanding God's Righteousness
Day 79 welcome to our devotional reading and reflection as we are finishing up our discussion on Joyce Meyer's book, " 100 Was to Simplify Your Life."
Day 79~ Don't have an Overactive Conscience ~
Our scripture reading comes from Psalm 97:6, " The heavens declare His righteousness, and all the people see His glory."
Do you have an overactive conscience!? What does that mean? When we tend to apologize for everything because we don't want to offend anybody. I felt over anxious at times and I felt I did something wrong so I would always say " I'm sorry." I always think someone is mad at me but in reality they are having a bad day. I always seem like something is wrong. One day my friend said that I over react with my thinking. Sometimes they are just tired, not feeling well, overly bad day or just chilling.
Reflections ~ understanding God's Righteousness
It is better to be in good standing with God first. Simply living our lives that pleases Him rather than man. It is important to take inventory of how we handle things with people and if we are in the wrong, apologize. If we have offended God, apologize to Him. God will direct you if you are acting in the wrong! Take time to listen to God.
